PLATFORM DATA USE
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Vengo Viajando publishes on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and YouTube using an internal tool of its own, which talks to those platforms through their official APIs. This page explains exactly what that tool does, what data it obtains, where it keeps it and for how long. It complements the Privacy Policy and forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
1. WHAT THE TOOL IS, AND WHAT IT IS NOT
It is private software used by Gustavo Correa to prepare, schedule and publish Vengo Viajando’s own content on Vengo Viajando’s own accounts. It runs on the owner’s machine and is not offered to the public.
- It has no user registration and no sign-up: nobody else can create an account in it.
- It never connects a third party’s social account. The only credentials it holds are those of the brand’s own accounts, authorised by their owner.
- It does not read, collect or store data about the people who watch, follow, like or comment on the content.
- It does not scrape platforms. Everything it obtains comes through the official APIs, within the terms of each platform.
2. PLATFORMS, PERMISSIONS AND WHAT EACH ONE IS FOR
| Platform | API and permissions | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| TikTok | Content Posting API — user.info.basic, video.upload, video.publish | Confirm which account is connected and upload and publish the brand’s own videos |
| TikTok (statistics) | Display API — video.list, only if granted | Read the aggregate figures of the brand’s own published videos: views, likes, comments, shares |
| Instagram and Facebook | Graph API on the brand’s own pages and professional accounts | Publish posts and reels and read the aggregate metrics of those posts |
| Threads | Threads API on the brand’s own account | Publish posts and read their aggregate metrics |
| YouTube | YouTube Data API v3 — youtube.upload, youtube.readonly | Upload the brand’s own videos and Shorts and read their aggregate statistics |
No permission is requested beyond what these functions require, and none is used for a purpose other than the one stated here.
3. WHAT DATA IS OBTAINED AND STORED
- Account identification: the name and identifier of Vengo Viajando’s own accounts, to confirm the video is going where it should.
- Publication data: the video, its caption, hashtags, publication time and the identifier the platform returns.
- Aggregate metrics of those publications: views, likes, comments, shares and watch time, as totals. The identity of the people behind those numbers is neither requested nor received.
- Access tokens: the credentials the platform issues to publish on the brand’s behalf.
No personal data of viewers, followers or commenters is collected, and no data obtained from a platform is combined with the data of website users.
4. WHERE IT IS KEPT, AND FOR HOW LONG
The content and the metrics are stored locally on the owner’s computer, in files that are not published on the internet. Access tokens live as environment variables on that machine, never in the browser and never in the site’s public code. Metrics are kept while they remain useful for deciding what to publish, and the account credentials only while the connection is active.
Access can be revoked at any time from the platform itself: from the security settings of the account on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or Threads, and, for Google and YouTube, at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. Revoking it immediately stops any further access, and the stored data can be deleted on request to vengoviajando@gmail.com.
5. NO SALE, NO SHARING, NO ADVERTISING
Data obtained through these APIs is not sold, is not shared with third parties, is not used for advertising or profiling, and is not transferred to any provider beyond what is needed to publish the content. It is used solely to publish Vengo Viajando’s own content and to understand how that content performs.
6. PLATFORM RULES WE ARE BOUND BY
Use of these APIs is subject, in addition to this page, to the rules of each platform: the TikTok Developer Terms of Service and its developer policies, the Meta Platform Terms, and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. By using the YouTube API Services, this application is also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of any data it receives is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
