1. Why pay for this if I can find the info free on Google?
On Google you get information — I give you a criterion. The internet is full of travel blogs with outdated or subjective data. You're not here to find what to see; you're here to design a system that stops you getting stranded at a border or blowing €2,000 on gear you don't need. My time saves you months of mistakes and a lot of money in wrong parts.
2. I don't have a bike yet — should I wait until I do for the consulting?
On the contrary. This is the best moment. Most people buy the wrong bike for the trip they have in mind, or load it up with adventure accessories that just add weight and serve no purpose. In the Diagnosis phase we determine what machine and configuration are actually right for your route — saving you the biggest unnecessary expense of your whole project.
3. Will you design my entire route and book the hotels?
No. I don't sell travel packages and I'm not a travel agency. My goal is for you to be an autonomous traveller. I give you a decision framework and we validate the critical legs, but you're the pilot. If you want someone to hold your hand, I'm not your guy. If you want to learn to navigate any terrain, then yes.
4. What if my questions are very specific to one country?
We'll talk about it. I've dealt with customs on 4 continents and I know how the unwritten manual of borders works. I don't have data on every street in the world, but I have the system that helps you get that information on the ground — without getting ripped off and without losing days in circular bureaucracy.
5. I'm not sure my project deserves professional consulting...
